What pump parts to keep for a potential second child

Tried to Google this but I’m confused do you have to replace all pump parts or can you keep some and re-wash

I would replace them all. Pump parts need to be replaced about every 3 months or they will not work at their full potential

Personally I'd just replace the valves

Its not a hygiene thing but a working part thing as to why it’s recommended to get rid of some, id keep everything but if youve got replaceable wiring, used duckbill valves + diaphrams or even new ones packet them separately and label new / used with the date as they degrade over time so when you’re having number 2 you’ll be able to know how old your replaceables are and test then keep or replace as needed, though id probably bin the used ones as theyre unlikely to last, cups, flanges etc are all completely fine to keep and reuse and as long as theyre clean and dry when stored will be fine

I would replace them all! I was going to keep my Medela pumps as they have been in the fridge for more than a month but I’ll probably toss them. They’re old and probably would need to be replaced eventually
