I am giving up ! 😩😫why potty training is so exhausting

I started potty training my lo when she was 18 months old two months after she was doing well she recognise pee and poo and she knew that pee and poo is in the potty. I’m using all day just panties and at night her nappy . Every morning after waking up I put her straight to the potty and she does pee ! I do this now every hour as before was every half an hour now she does not want to seat in the potty she hides to pee or to poo . She does not want to seat in the potty , is a nightmare all her signs of potty training are there now she is 22 months and a half and is worst than when I started . Any suggestions ? Please I’m helpless 😣 my husband and I tried everything

my daughter just turned 3 and we are still dealing with potty training.

My daughter did better once I handed over to her. For three days, I would also set her on the potty every 30 min/1 hour. After she understood the assignment, she got quite annoyed with these forces breaks. So I would just casually drop a hint every 1 hour/2 hours and leave it up to her to go. I wonder if your LO wants a bit more autonomy as well?

@Mirka I wish ! I have tried to give her the option to go by herself even I put the potty where she goes now and poo or pee and she does not use it , :( I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️ why she is refusing to go or at least like before she used to say ups mama poo or pee and showed me where now even that is not doing it

Oh no :( I did the "oh crap! Potty training" method. Maybe the book can help. Otherwise, I would give it a rest and try again in a few months. Your LO is still young.
