Over supply of milk. What to do?

Baby is feeding at least every 3hrs for a minimum of 15 minutes. Having to take breaks as she gets too much milk. I pump once a day so that she can have a bottle from dad while I take a nap. I get over 100ml most times I pump and I don't pump for that long (max 10 minutes each side). Is there anything I can do to reduce the encouragement particularly over night as she struggles to latch in the morning and gets angry at me and then hurts when she does latch so it takes a few attempts to get it right.

Unfortunately pumping contributes to engorged breasts at the beginning. I had great friend that this happened. To help with latching use some warm compress on your boobs before feeding and massage them before putting baby on. Put cold after feeds How old is baby? Your supply adapts the older baby is

I had oversupply first baby. It takes a while for supply to be fully adapted to baby. My baby’s issue was a fast letdown and he’d be very unhappy feeding first few minutes. I used to take him off, catch the letdown in a muslin then start again when the spray was less aggressive. I found this site really useful for breastfeeding advice - https://laleche.org.uk/too-much-milk-and-oversupply/#remedy Also the National Breastfeeding helpline have super useful info. You can also call them or message them on social media - they used to have people reply on Instagram erc very quickly if you wanted some proper advice. Good luck!

@Conchi unfortunately if I didn't pump so I could nap I wouldn't be in a fit state to look after her overnight. Hoping it settles as she is only a week old.
