Biscuits, nuts, sweets. I will get some fruit on the day and my partner will bring me a sandwich. Hospital dinner is before 6pm so I'll be starving by 9pm. 🤣 I am having a section so I am expecting to spend one night there

So far sweets, nuts, dried fruits and some protein bars 🤗. I will probably take some fresh fruits on the day as well.

My midwife told me to take breakfast bars, savoury snacks like ritz and crisps, and other snacks that are easy to nibble on but also to take pot noodle type stuff that's easy to make in the middle of the night and protein drink incase you can't stomach eating anything. I'll probably take bananas and milk too cos I always want milk rn 😅

Just to add - check if you are allowed nuts, as some hospitals are nut free. Unfortunately the ward I am birthing on have a severely allergic midwife so no nuts for me, which is a shame as I have gestational diabetes and nuts are a safe snack for me.

I have Jacob’s crackers, go ahead breakfast bars, squares and a couple of bottles of lucozade currently packed for me and my husband (if needed)- first time mum so I have no idea really 😂 thankfully there’s a M+S food, a costa, a hospital restaurant and a newsagent at the hospital, but of course will all be closed at night if I go into labour then 😂 I’ll also pack my water bottle on the day and looking at the above comments, maybe any fruit that I have kicking around!
