I exclusively pumped with my first, it worked really well for us till I went back to work. I also suggest looking at the pitcher method with exclusive pumping.

@Savannah I plan on doing the pitcher method. How did you handle camping trips or long trips out of the house?

With this one, I'll be trying my best to have her in a bedside bassinet. I'm looking at some 5 in 1 play yards. That way I'll get the most use out of it.

This is our third, and really don't have plans to change anything. Have cloth diapers since our first and love it. Thought about trying elimination communication with this one, but it just sounds like more work and still have to potty-train later, so meh. I primarily breastfeed, but pump to build a stash - with my first I pumped a lot to donate to family, second less because I didn't need to and hate it. We'll still do a bedside bassinet before transitioning to crib around 4 months, as it went smoothly before and have moved to a house with even more bedside space in the master.

I’m just excited to not have all the first time parent worries and kind of get to enjoy it more and be a little more relaxed! I also am going to practice breastfeeding in a ton of different positions with this one. Since I will have to nurse out and about way more with my very active son. With him I just always nursed the same way and always used a boppy pillow and that’s not going to cut it this time 😂

With this baby I'm really gonna try to- -Breastfeed more in public right from the start (covered, or in my car). I always brought bottles and had to worry about bringing a cooler and warming the milk, but as my son got older (still a baby though) I started just breastfeeding him while out and about and it's so much easier for us. -Try really hard to get this baby to sleep in the bedside bassinet. My son ended up in our bed for almost a year lol.

@Kara I would like to learn how to nurse baby in a carrier, especially in the ring sling since that's what I like to use when out.

@Becca Breastfeeding in public makes it so easy, and there are lots of cute clothes now designed for it so you don't have to mess with annoying blankets and covers and things.

Bottle training instead of EBF, hopefully that will help with weaning this time around
