Hello, I was told I had low Papp a at 13 weeks and was put on aspirin and growth scans. There’s a Facebook group which has many positive stories. It did however affect the growth of my baby who has always measured on the 5th percentile and my umbilical artery Doppler is now measuring high which means the placenta is working too hard to get blood through to baby. I’m currently nearly 36 weeks and the likelihood is baby will be delivered before or by 37 weeks! X

Thanks for this @Katie, if you’re comfortable answering. Do they think baby will naturally come early or is it more of a planned early like an induction

Of course not. Induction or potential c-section depending on how baby is coping. We will find out more at our 36 week scan this week xx

Me too I was put on aspirin and will have the first growth scan next week at 28 weeks. Fingers crossed

I have low pappa Same as katie- I was already on aspirin for other reasons but would've been put on otherwise. Got extra growth scans, and consultant led to keep an eye. So far my baby is measuring average growth so no changes yet but if things slow down in terms of growth or baby has reduced movements that indicate placenta issued (that they'll then check further) then like early induction or c section :)

Thank you so much

I have low PAPP-A, was put on aspirin. Baby is on the smaller side of a normal size baby at the moment (currently 30 weeks). Was told to expect to have him a little early (potentially 37 weeks).

@Amy Did they tell you whether you will have it naturally or how?

@Simona likely induction (not natural)

@Amy thanks Amy
