How is everyone finding breastfeeding?

For mums that have given birth, how are you finding breastfeeding? I tried with my 1st and this is my 2nd baby and it's just so hard! The nights are the hardest and it feels like I'm not sleeping at all. Anyone in the same boat?

The nights really are hard, support from my partner definitely helped a lot, making sure I don’t fall asleep and then settling baby for me. It does get easier though !

Hard! So overwhelming and so much harder than I ever imagined. I dread nights and my partner has struggled with lack of sleep so I haven’t had as much support! I’m so determined I see it through but I’ve nearly thrown in the towel recently a week in. For the most natural thing in the world it hasn’t come natural ha x

This is my second and I breastfed my first for 11 months so I knew what it was like. Breastfeeding at the beginning is really hard. I don't think people appreciate it. It definitely does not come naturally. But it does get easier I promise. And if it is not for you, yiu should not feel guilty either

It is hard but it’s really helpful to get support. I found La Leche League great. https://laleche.org.uk/find-lll-support-group/
