Cuddles

Anyone’s baby not super cuddly? He’s smiling and laughing and loves interacting but prefers to do it led down next to me rather than being held. He’s happy being held facing away from me when watching tele or facing me when being carried around, but doesn’t seem to enjoy being cuddled chest to chest. He used to love sleeping on daddy’s chest when younger but again, doesn’t seem to get comfortable! Just way more content when led next to us or in between us. He’s 4 months old!

My first son was exactly like this!

My baby boy is the same! Also hates being cradled and is happiest being sat on my knees, facing me and being talked too

My little boy only wants to be cuddled when he's feeling a bit rubbish with his teeth, other than that he's quite happy to play on his mat by himself, sit in his rocker/bouncer or chill in the cot by himself x

Yep! No one is an even allowed to think about holding LG chest to chest because she will let you know about it. The second she transitioned out of the newborn phase and could look around, that was it. She will squirm, screech and cry if you try and cuddle her like that. She has to be sat up! It’s certainly tiring, really looking forward to when she’s old enough for a high chair! Definitely miss the cuddles too. We only get them when she’s really sleepy or poorly from the vaccines

Yeah my little boy is 5 months and been like this from about 4 weeks really
