Low Breastmilk supply

Hi Mamas, I have a 7 day old and breastfeeding has been a real challenge for me. I am facing a lot of nipple trauma and am scared to breastfeed but I’ve been trying to do as many feeds as possible and supplement some feeds with formula (Enfamil Gentlease) that my pediatrician suggested. I’m feeling very guilty for not being able to do what’s best for my little one. I have tried pumping but I’m getting very sore combining pumping and breastfeeding. Can you mamas help me with choosing a good organic formula for my little one. I have been getting a lot of ads about Bobbi and Kendamil. Pumping isn’t yielding a lot of milk either to compensate either. Please need your input mamas.

I’ve heard great things about kendamil & byheart. Just some recommendations for pumping/bf make sure your flange size is correct & her latch is correct. Keep up pumping every 2-3 hours & order some earth mama butter. It’s game changing. Sending you good vibes 🫶🏻

I had to start supplementing formula. And I am using Kendamil organic and I’ve had 0 issues 🩷

@Alyssa is it this one ? https://www.target.com/p/kendamil-organic-infant-formula-powder-28-2oz/-/A-86918586

Yes!

@Destiny Her mouth is so tiny - her latch is good but I’m not able to get her to open wider to cause less pain. I’ll look into the flange sizes

@Alyssa thank you 😍
