Looking to get that one! Good to know it worked for you and that Phillips one :) may I ask if the level 2 or level 3 worked for you? My girl is 4 months. Yes totally makes sense to have my partner work at it first haha
So also try it warm not just cold. Also she eventually take it when she’s hungry enough when she notices she won’t get the boob. My girl is struggle with the bottle since she’s teething.
Whatever you do just don’t force it or baby could develop a bottle aversion. You def don’t want that. We are coming out of it with my baby and she lost weight because of it. Respect her refusal cues and just keep trying. I don’t offer it more than twice
@✨Wis 🇭🇹 agree with matching the flow. i have a ridiculously fast flow so my baby hated how slow the bottle was. once we matched the flow she had no problems
I have my 4 month old son on Lansinoh. The ONLY bottle he will take. I have tried about 8 different bottles/nipples/variations, even both types of Dr. Brown's. He's on medium flow, which is accurate for his age/stage.
Are the daycare providers aware of paced bottle feeding? My son is EBF and he will only take a bottle on his side, pace feeding because he can control the flow like he does at the breast. If you have a lactation consultant near you, this is also something they can help with as well.
Update! She took the lanisoh bottle with a level 2 nipple 🙏 so glad!!
Just be careful with nipple sizes. Just because it is age appropriate does not make it best for you. If you size up nipples, alit of times babe will start to refuse breastfeeding because they can get it faster in a bottle.
Are you using the Lansinoh now or looking to get it? Lansinoh worked well for me as well as a wide neck, realistic nipple with Phillips advent. It took consistency and also fixing the flow of the bottle to match the flow of my breasts. Eventually baby realized the boob won’t come and took the bottle from dad (not from me lol) and also doing it more often at home as well can help
