Milestones

So my LG is 6 months in 11 days, she’s not rolling over at all yet (she has once or twice) but no matter how much we try and encourage it, just a no go! She does pivot quite a lot though but it’s like she’s struggling to figure out how to bring her leg over (we have been trying to help her with this) she also isn’t sitting yet without support and I’ve seen babies her age doing all of this! It’s so hard to try and not compare but i know every baby develops in their own time and she’ll get there but I can’t help but worry about her! Is anyone else’s LO the same?

My baby girl is 27 weeks so just over 6 months. She can sit up on her own (not confidently) but she’s not interested in rolling over she’s done it a few times fromt to nack never back to front. My family nurse said it’s not included in any of the development checks so not for my to worry x

My eldest sat up at 6 months unaided but didn't roll till a few weeks later. He crawled early and walked before 1 so I wouldn't worry about rolling.

Mine is 6 months today and has rolled a few times but is generally not interested at all. She can sit up, but also not confidently. I think they'll all just do things in their own time

Yeah I was the same! Every baby is different. My family nurse said my baby is thriving and she said her development is so good, so don’t worry much x

Speak to your HV. I've just spoken to mine today about my Little boy and milestones and she's given me loads of info and been a huge reassurance x
