How do you fit life in?

I feel like I just spend all my time cleaning or preparing things for baby. Now she is eating more that takes up more time as well. How do you fit plans in around feeding and naps? I feel like I hardly leave the house at the moment.

Same here! My baby sleeps normally 1.5hrs in naps, and struggles with night sleep. He's crawling and pulling to stand so needs constant supervision too. His naps are just cleaning time after meal time chaos! I try to leave the house 1/2 times per week, but normally to friends houses with babies so let him contact nap & bring my portable high chair for feeds.

Our routine currently, wake up, nappy, bottle. He sits in his highchair while I do jobs for 30 mins. Have breakfast together and then get dressed. Then pop him in the pram and we walk to the shops, baby group, park, visit family, get a coffee with friends etc so he has a nice 30 min pram nap while we walk and then we get a good chunk of time out together everyday. Then he has a bottle and nap when we get home, lunch together, wash up while he digests then play time, bottle, mid-afternoon nap, another play time then dinner. After dinner it's a story bath and bed by 7pm so I get a good chunk of the evening to enjoy. That's the week and at the weekend when my husband is about to help we try at least 1 day to go somewhere nice together. Chores can wait ultimately and naps can happen when you are out meal times makes it hard but if we're having a nice time somewhere I just skip lunch for him it's not the end of the world at this age

It’s a lot… we are all super humans. And our babies are thriving. Just remember that! We get up, try to have some brekkie about an hour after getting up (sometimes it’s longer) then get ready for the day if we have plans then milk/nap (which is usually a contact one). Then playtime/clean up. I fit naps in around driving/plans. I am only just starting 3 small meals a day, but sometimes dinner falls dangerously close to tired time because I do it before bath time as it’s messy?! As I say, we’re just super humans…
