Whinging

Does anyone feel like there 16m old is just constantly whinging all day everyday. I try to stay calm but she just literally whinges and cries for no reason, more than she don’t. Why is this and when does it stop because it’s doing my head in.

I forgot how draining this stage is 😫 can't remember how long it lasted with my eldest but think it was for a while unfortunately. As long as she's not hurt I let her whine it out then distract her with something

I'm in the same boat. My 17 months old girl is constantly whining. She is so grumpy and so unbearable. It's so hard for me to hear her all the day crying and whining especially when i am tired. Just don't know what to do. The only things that calm her down from time to time are the breastfeeding and me carrying her in my arms.

I could have written this myself, I feel like it's constant, today nothing worked apart from a neighbour coming to the door then he was all smiles!

Ahh honestly it is so draining. I try distract her with food but then when the food is gone the whinging is 10x worse 😂😂😂😂😂

Yeah my LG has been like this for the last few weeks at least. It’s always when I’m around as well. Last weekend I went away for a girls trip and my husband said she was really good 🫠🫠🫠🫠 but for me it’s constant whinging and crying for what seems like no reason. Hoping the end is near 😭😭😭😭 I feel like I can’t take her anywhere atm!

My 23 month old does this

@Carys I've just posted about this too, she's all for her dad at the moment, when I come near her that's it, whinging and throwing herself back so I don't touch her. This started a week ago, so still early stages, but it's definitely affecting me and my bond with her, it's like she hates me being there 😪😪 xx
