I hope you can because you want to so much, I think that adds a lot to the journey and will help you and baby !!! I believe you’ll still be successful after 2 month. I would say around 9 weeks is when I got my baby to latch! Before that I was expressing and giving the bottle and only really had him on once a day sometimes I didn’t at all due to weight gain & paediatrician wanting him to drink a certain amount in the day. I thought I wouldn’t ever have him on and it’s happened so I know it will happen for you because you will make it ❤️ xx

Have a look at the Thompson latch as this is the most natural thing for me and my baby. I could not get on with nipple to nose.

I also recommend the Thompson method. My baby didn’t like the forceful methods recommended in hospital. She hated being pushed onto the breast. She had a tongue tie and after that was released at 6 weeks I started to get her to latch on the breast. It took awhile but by around 3 months breastfeeding was really easy Best of luck xx

I was able to transition from exclusively pumping due to latch issues to nursing with a nipple shield to nursing with no nipple shield around 2.5-3 months pp. it’s possible!
