Mine was similar, went to triage and they had a look but wouldn’t give me any antibiotics, said it looks quite angry but to leave it another week and if it wasn’t improving by then, they would then give me antibiotics. If you’re is opening up I would 100% go in. Something that helped me was using salt in a raw form, in slightly cooled boiling water.

Hey - I've had the same problem. I was sent into labour triage last weekend (two weeks post op) after a midwife looked via video cam when I called concerned. I have been on antibiotics for a week, but results came back from swabs yesterday and I'm being given a new course of antibiotics today as a specific bacteria was found and apparently wound won't heal until it's treated. Mine is also at the side. Not suggesting yours is an infection, but it can be an indicator if things aren't healing naturally.

Thanks ladies. Ive almost finished a week of antibiotics. Washing twice a day & kept as dry as i can. Just isn't getting any better. Ive been to gp & midwifes been out. Maybe it does need swabbed. Thanks for the advice x
