40+4 today. No previous signs of labour until just now, I think! Some very mild cramps and part of my mucus plug is now coming away. Someone please agree that this might be the start of the end 🙏🤣

Update, this is it! The mild contractions died down yesterday, but I woke up at 6:15 with my waters breaking and now in triage waiting for a bed on labour ward. Having continuous fetal monitoring as baby released meconium in utero but all okay so far 🙏

I had mild contractions on and off throughout the day and bits of my mucus plug started to come away but nothing major! My waters broke whilst I was asleep that night and she arrived the following morning! So it very well could be. Good luck mamma!
