I don't have a boy either but they have these potty training urinals. I babysit some toddler boys and I bought a urinal. I have a fun frog one. Might be more exciting than splashing in a pee puddle 😊 🤞 My mom bought us training pants but we never used them. You can actually go commando for the first month. No diaper no underwear. The feeling of pee on pants is not like a diaper and is uncomfortable. Every time my daughter peed herself commando she screamed for me and then started holding it and telling me
Just try very loose pants. Still no diaper feel, but it'll absorb most of it and you guys won't get the splashing benefit.
So my son did this but when I showed him we pour the potty down the loo and he could flush the chain after it all changed, his taken the chain flushing as a reward and thinks it’s amazing, he couldn’t want to flush the chain so started going on the potty xx
I put mine in her regular underwear and pants. Gave her lots of drinks and stayed home during the training days. When she wee in her pants she felt uncomfortable so she knew instantly that she shouldn’t wee in there but on the potty. Took us about 3-4 days to crack that.
In our experience the potty training pants didn’t work at first it actually made her pee in her pants as if it was a diaper. I guess because it didn’t run down her leg as much. What finally worked for us was we put her in regular panties, let her go outside and play and told her if she pees then she would have to come in and couldn’t play outside the rest of the evening because she would be all wet. After that it just clicked for her because she didn’t want to come inside lol. Also, I don’t have a boy but I have heard of people having success with letting them target pee on things outside. He may think that’s more fun than splashing lol.
