Elvie stride reviews

Just seen that the Elvie stride is on sale and I have been using the momcozy S12 pro for a while. It’s fine and I don’t mind it but I’ve had spillage accidents and it’s super bulky when out meaning I have to go hide in the car if I need to pump. Do you think it’s worth the upgrade, especially as they’re saying it’s hospital grade? And more discreet

I think anything is better than the collection cups of the momcozy s9/s12. I genuinely hate the pump because I had so many spillage/leakage issues even with brand new parts. As for the Elvie stride personally I didn’t respond to it at all typically getting 2-3 ounce a side if I hadn’t nursed and I didn’t even get .5 ounces. I love that all the parts are dishwasher safe and even at max suction the pump isn’t loud.

I have just returned the elvie stride after only 2 weeks worth of use The pump itself is great I loved it one boob responded better than the other which was fine and too be expected but… The pump doesn’t work properly unless every drop of water is gone so you’ll have to have two sets In the two weeks of having it I replaced the valves twice and for a £300 pump and a £10 valve replacement every other week is crap Maybe I just got a bad pump but there’s other on a pumping page on facebook that have said the same thing Now again maybe I just got a bad pump but I don’t think you should waste your money

I used the elvie stride for about a month or so. Absolutely hated it. FTM so I was very inexperienced at first. 1. Hate that the plastic is opaque (I cant see if ny nipple was direct or pinching) 2. After a while of using the rubber seals wear off and it pops open (spilled so much milk 🥲) 3. Replacements are not sold in stores, have to buy off amazon and are not cheap 4. Milk leaked into the tubing once, cause it doesn’t have the back pump like Spectra does. So milk went right into the tubing. Impossible to clean. Tubing is expensive thats when I made the decision to switch to Spectra. Best decision ever. Super impractical I know (I wanted a wearable pump so bad) but its the best thing ever. I have over 500 oz of frozen breastmilk since I started on the spectra. Should’ve gotten that one from the very beginning. You should never use a wearable pump as your main source of pumping as the battery starts to get slower and less suction

I find with wearables I can never see my nipple, unlike the more traditional pumps! Have you found a wearable that you can see better? It’s so annoying to have to adjust blindly so many time in order to get output
