Can't keep up with my baby

Help! I am EBM feeding my baby but I can't keep up with him. We've created the most hungry and wonderful little boy But I am exhausted, not eating, not really sleeping because I'm up trying to keep up with him and ensuring he has enough for his feeds..expressing every few hours to try and stay ahead but it's now at the cost of my own body and wellbeing. Am I okay to start introducing formula and using breast milk every other feed or once/twice a day? Me and my partner are at loggerheads because I'm so drained. I had a C-section too and I think my body is slowly shutting down. Confused and overwhelmed mama here

I do the same lovely! My little boy now has a couple of bottles of formula a day and is so much more settled since I’ve been doing this. Think he was always still a bit hungry before x

I do 3 bottles formula and 5 bottles breast milk and it works well for us. Just make sure you only drop one pump every couple of days so reduce the risk of mastitis x

If the mum is well, the baby is well, right? You have to do what is best for your health in order to be the best mum possible. I also has a caesarian. Breastfeeding didn’t work for me, so I am mostly formula feeding, but I also express milk with an electric pump because I want my baby to get all those magic ingredients in the breast milk. Full time breastfeeding isn’t for everyone I learned xx
