Back and rib pain

I am 35 weeks pregnant and for the past week I have had horrific pain in my right rib at the front and the middle of my back at the right. It started as really painful “popping” and “bubbling” feeling under my right rib at the front and the pain travels through and I can feel it really bad in the same position on my back. It came on randomly while sat eating my breakfast and hasn’t gone away week later. The pain is horrific when sitting, standing literally anything and doesn’t go away. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I have been to MAC twice and they have said it’s nothing to do with my pregnancy because protein and BP is normal and baby’s moving and her foot isn’t under my ribs. I am bed bound and can’t stand for longer than a minute or sit up without being in agony. Any advice on what this could be? Is this normal?

🤔 Could be sciatica .... I remember when I was pregnant I developed it .... I couldn't sit for long or stand or barely walk if honest - I felt like a cripple! The only time I felt good was asleep , laying down..... it did start in my back then my bum area and kinda down my legs, hard to explain- It did go away instantly after birth x

I’ve been having the same symptoms and I’m 35 weeks pregnant. I’ve had pain in the same spots during my third trimester. I feel better once the baby moves. Right now he’s really high up so I think that’s what’s been causing me the pain.

@Lexi an update I got this checked out and I have slipped rib syndrome, my right rib has come away from the cartilage and should heal after birth. If the pain your getting is constant and debilitating I would recommend seeing a doctor x

Oh my gosh thank you so much! I just assumed it was normal but it definitely feels debilitating. I’ll tell my doctor at my next appointment
