This is my second time around being an exclusive pumper and the main way to get supply up is to just fully empty breasts as much as possible. Some people will react differently to herbs and grains in "lactation" products. I found for me that most of them hinder my supply especially things with fenugreek, also fenugreek makes babies super gassy (my second child suffered so bad from gas cause I didn't know!) Stay well hydrated and nurse/pump as much as possible.
Definitely be careful with fenugreek ^ as she said it can cause a decrease in supply or make your baby gassy. I just exclusively pumped for 14 months. Here’s some things i noticed helped my supply: coconut water 💯, oats (I loved overnight oats), power pumping 1x day, and brewers yeast
@Sarah do you have some good recipes for overnight oats?
Following
1/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats 1/2 cup vanilla oat milk 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 tablespoon sugar free cheesecake jello mix Fresh strawberries on top This was my favorite! I would also switch out the pudding mixes and fruits 🥰
i feel like im just an enougher myself and been curious if lactation cookies would help. I found a video on making your own lactation cookies..i haven't tried them yet but I wonder if the ingredients are similar. maybe more cost effective. can you send me a pic of the ones you got? also I've read coconut water can help with supply. also haven't tried it lol
