Unsettled breastfed baby

Hello! First time mum and worrier here! My little girl is 2 and a half weeks old and is exclusively breastfed. She is very settled in the day between feeds but at night from about 10/12pm she will be very unsettled, I try feeding her and she either doesn’t want to latch or will latch for a few minutes then let go and cry (I presume not hungry). I try to wind and cuddle her and put her down but she just isn’t happy until eventually she drifts off which can take hours. I’ve got a rocket for her mattress, play lullaby’s but nothing seems to help. Does anyone have any advice? Even just reassurance this is normal. My breastfeed routine is to feed off one breast, change her nappy and then offer the other breast, is this a good routine to be in? Thanks so much in advance

My baby is similar and so following. We also offer pumped milk top ups as he was struggling to feed by breast alone, but night time is very hard. He'll fall asleep properly around 7am and we'll get an hour maybe 90 mins before we start again

Could be silent reflux, does she make any gargling noises or sound like she is being sick? You could try putting her bed on an incline and sitting her up for at least 30mins after a feed. Does she lift legs towards her tummy at all ?

My little one is like this too! It’s always at night that last feed! I’ve assumed that it’s wind so I try and keep her upright over my shoulder for 10-20 minutes after feeding. I do the exact same as you I feed change then give the second boob but stop when she leans away from the breast. Also remember she is a new baby and will just want to be on you rather than on her own in a crib and this is completely normal❤️ I’ve found when I transfer my LO if I keep my hand on her chest for 5 mins in the crib until she drifts off she settles but not 100% of the time 😂

My daughter did this until I gave her a dummy, that thing saved my life 😅 she wanted to suckle for comfort but didn't want milk and would pull off the breast but continue being upset. I popped a dummy in and it changed everything!

Oh and we continued to breastfeed without issue for 9 months

@Amber Can I ask when did you start with the dummy?

Based on my Google photos she had it at 3 weeks old, she gave it up really well as well at around 2
