We are going to start at 18 months!

I haven't officially started but we were hand down a little toilet. I take off the diaper and sit her on the toilet as I'm filling her bath. If she does great. If not, no pressure. Getting her used to just sitting her on it.

Most children aren't physically ready until 2, sometimes 3. And that's during the day. Night can take longer. They need to be able to recognize they need to go and be able to hold it. You can introduce the potty earlier but don't push it before they seem ready because it can lead to frustration for you and the child. Wheb my daughter turned 2 we did the stay at home with nothing on method and celebrated anytime she got anything into the potty. Whether she sat down or i had to rush her to it while she was leaking lol. Second week we did the same but with undies on. Only accidents we had after that was if we couldn't pull over on time. I heard boys can take longer so we will see with my son.

I was wondering the same thing! My LG is almost 14 months and will tell me when she has to poop, (Nothing for pee). But she isn’t walking yet so we haven’t introduced the potty 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ll be starting in the next 4 months with my 14 monther. She already has an interest in the potty and watches me and her older sister use the potty. She understands the word and sign for potty and has even pooped on the potty once. My first was potty trained around 18 months and I am anxious to be done with diapers! They are absolutely capable of being potty trained at 18 months
