Teething

My 4 month old has been really fussy at night and constantly chewing on stuff. Does this look like a tooth coming through

You can definitely see the tooth there! It doesn’t look like it’s cut yet though that’s when it usually starts to bother them xx

Does your kiddo have any other teeth? That one is typically not the first one to come in. It may be present under the gums but it may not be actively coming and causing the fuss.

I’d be surprised if that’s where the first tooth comes through. It’s usually the bottom front two, sometimes the top.

It’s possible that it could be teething but I don’t think it’s very likely bc of the placement. Those don’t normal come in until the have the top and bottom 2 fronts and their first molars

@Natalie no she doesn’t. I thought so because when she’s chewing on stuff she shoves it back on that side. I was just checking the other day and it was the only bump i felt. Yeah my mil said that’s crazy because she has never seen those teeth come in first

These teeth are coming in first for my daughter too! Her left upper one is nearly down and right upper is just behind it! Last doctors check up she was shocked at these being the first teeth but it can happen. She was the same and shoved every teether over to the sides of her mouth
