Does anyone feed their baby cold formula or breastmilk? Is it okay?

I did with my first and now my second! A lactation consultant told me it was fine

I personally don’t but I believe room temperature milk is fine but straight out the refrigerator I feel like it can give a shock to the baby when they first drink it because how cold it Is , but to warm up breast milk I use the storage bags and put it in hot water and it warms up in 1min or less depending on how hot the water is also, for formula you can pre warm the water for like 10sec or less to be just warm to the touch and if your out and about just get a cup of hot water somewhere like gas station

I get a lot of grief from my family but I give cold, chilled, room temp, and warmed milk. He does fine with all temps and lactation and doctor said it’s fine. Formula I give more often at room temp vs breastmilk since I store in fridge. Now that we are going in colder months I give breastmilk warmed now. I think of it like giving him a Starbucks white hot chocolate 🙃

It’s just a preference thing I give my baby warmed formula every so often and she does love it but she also loves it cold!
