Ugh yes! Especially this time I have a toddler running around just takes so much out of the day and I feel trapped
Yesssss!!! I’m in the same boat as you @Diana. I have a 3 year old and between the newborn, toddler, and pumping… I’m going crazy!!!
yes girl 😭 it’s super exhausting and my baby will breastfeed for an hour sometimes and it’s so time consuming. Also my supply was so good the first 2 weeks, i was making much more than my baby needed and now my supply isn’t great at all. i don’t know how much longer i can do it either
@Jules girl SAME wth!!
THIS! I did it before but this time it’s painful!! 😣
I'm 5 weeks in and I sometimes feel like that. her latch isn't the greatest and my nipples are always sore! I just remember this is temporary and this time will pass so fast. I love the bonding part of it. I'm sure I'm messing my supply up but when I'm tired or super sore we supplement a bottle of formula and that helps me get past that feeling of giving up. fed is best so do what is best for you and your baby!
It’s definitely such a challenge! A lot harder than I anticipated tbh. I also supplement if I feel like it with formula and try to pump when I do but it’s so exhausting that I really don’t do that every time. I’m kinda winging it and hoping for the best so I totally feel this struggle. Sending you love/support!
@Diana I was feeling the same just trapped to the pump
I’m in the same boat, I’ll be stopping any day now. I’ve barely ever had any milk since baby was born and pumping is so time consuming, it’s just not going well for me. I feel guilty about it..
@Michelle don’t feel guilty with my first I maybe got 10 oz in 3 months with my second I’m somehow able to breastfeed and still feel like stopping it’s a lot
@Michelle happened with my first. Felt guilty for not being successful at bfing or pumping. Took awhile to get over it but it’s not our fault and we’re too hard on ourselves. Baby is gonna be eating good and that’s all that matters
Fed is best. Do what’s best your mental health
