Pumping

How on earth do you ladies find the time? LO is EBF & I’ve been back to work for 6 weeks and I really struggle to find the time to pump, and when I do pump I struggle to get a decent amount (sometimes I can get 4oz, sometimes not even an oz). He feeds every 2hrs during the day & by time we’ve played, changed, settled he only naps for 30 mins so I’m constantly fighting in my head with how I should use the time I get during his naps. I have thought about getting formula but I’d prefer not to. Any tips on how to make it work?

Hey so I try to pump in the middle of the night and early mornings as that’s when milk production is at its highest. I can get 6oz from one side in 5 mins at 5am but only 2oz from 20 mins in the evening, it’s so hard trying to juggle pumping alongside breastfeeding isn’t it x

I pump at 3 or 4am. I can get 120ml 4oz in 20mins that's the best time for me

I pump while we play, if we are sat on the floor on her mat I will just pump there, same if she is in the bouncer. She also only takes short naps, so when she is awake is the only time. Note I'm exclusively pumping, I don't know if this would work if I was nursing too. But like the others said, I also have a middle of the night pump.

I pump when I first wake up while having my breakfast as I get so much more in the morning. I also pump when I’m driving or running errands 😂

Omg I need to get on it! This is really worrying me too going back to work soon. Thanks for the tips ladies!
