Can I get a tattoo while breastfeeding? I don't want to wait a whole year :( she also doesn't take a bottle

Idk if you can but i got one, it’s small but i didn’t have any infections or anything it healed pretty well
No reputable tattooists would work on someone who breastfeeds. There's so little research on whether the ink can somehow get into your breastmilk, and it's not worth the risk of getting an infection. I'd love to get a tattoo but I'm still waiting!
I did in Portugal, don’t think it’s something over there, even I didn’t research about it I thought it was ok
I did and I took my newborn with me 🤷♀️ I think it’s up to your own discretion what you’re comfortable with as far as risk goes.

Not advised due to risk of infection. I’m in the same boat but it’s worth waiting just in case. My son won’t take a bottle either and if I went, got an infection and then had to stop breastfeeding it would just be a nightmare for us so worth waiting in my opinion! Xx
