I was in my first pregnancy

@Hollie I get so anxious about taking stuff during pregnancy did they work for you?

I was on it with my first and my last (born Dec 23) it worked better the first time. Last time it semi did, reduced the sickness a bit but not enough and it made me drowsy at work, so they then put me on ondansetron too and that helped and didn't make me drowsy. I did have hyperemesis though. I'd say if it's bad enough for meds take them. I took both until he was born, literally used during labour. He didn't come out drowsy or with any issues

I was prescribed them with my first but ended up never taking them due to severe anxiety. However this time round the nausea has been so much worse having a toddler makes it a whole lot harder to deal with.

I felt exactly the same and was anxious taking them, was so sick when I didn't take them and when I did take them anxious that my sickness disappeared 😂 I did take them, they just made me really sleepy x

Yep and it never helped in my first pregnancy

@Hollie I feel like that’s exactly how I’d be!! It’s so bloody hard these first 12 weeks and I just feel like there’s not enough emotional support out there at all x

I completely agree!!! I'm now 7 weeks and honestly cannot believe I still have 5 weeks to go until 12 weeks 😩 So so hard and so easy to feel alone!!

@Hollie yes 100% thank you for commenting and giving me some advice

I tried Cyclizine in my first pregnancy - it didn't do much for me.i I wish I would have tried different medications but I suffered through instead. This pregnancy I am on Xoneva for sickness and it is helping a lot! Check our Pregnancy Sickness Support Charity x

I tried a few different ones during my first pregnancy and Cyclizine was the only one that worked! (It did take a few days to take effect) I was also so anxious to take it however the Dr reassured me it was safe and most tablets will only say it’s not advised because they don’t test on pregnant women so they will never say it’s 100% safe on the paperwork. I literally couldn’t function or go to work without them, I took them from 9-16 weeks, did try stop them earlier but threw up instantly 🥲 x

So I took one last night which worked for me but I have woken up this morning with no symptoms what so ever my boobs aren’t even hurting so it has caused more anxiety 😫😭 xx
