Supply

I am starting work in February. My baby will be nearly 10 months. Will my supply be ok if I don’t pump at work? I will still be breastfeeding at home in the morning, evenings and night time. Will she still need milk during the day while at nursery? She doesn’t take a bottle and I’ve tried getting her to drink milk from a straw and open cup. Will she be ok with just solids if she still can breastfeed on demand when I’m home

As long as your pump when baby will be having a feed you should be okay. At 10 months she will still need milk as the main nutrition, you can always take 2/3 pumped feeds for baby at nursery, depending on how long she will be there. Luckily, baby will never need more than 5Oz per feed, so you can always offer 3 Oz feed, and tell nursery to pace feed it.

My little girl won’t have a bottle and has been fine at nursery!! Just feeds before and as soon as I pick her up! I pumped at first but now I’ve stopped and she seems fine eating food. She is waking more at night but think that’s the bugs too 😂

@Emma my problem is she won’t take a bottle. I’ve tried leaving her with my mum and she won’t have any milk while I’m away
