EBF and lemsip
Any breastfeeding mum taken lemsip? I'm really ill with the flu at the moment and am very congested. I was wondering if anyone had issues with it. It's not recommended for breastfeeding mums but I'm getting desperate for some relief

@Holly it's not something you really think about really. I'm on meds too so double checked I could take it on that
@Holly I managed to get some info off a Dr friend "So decongestants _may_ impact on breastmilk supply, but that’s relatively unlikely, especially in an established supply (ie over 6 months). The evidence base is not conclusive that it impacts on supply anyway. From the perspective of baby, there’s a very small amount in the breast milk (less than 1% of the maternal dose). If it was me and I thought it would help my symptoms, I’d have it."
