Baby grunting
Baby is 12 days old and we have just brought him home from NICU, he won’t settle in his next to me crib and is constantly kicking and grunting and making lots of noise, am at a lost cause, he hasn’t pooed since last night either. Any help is much appreciated, from a tired new mum x

The grunting noise is intense! Lots of winding, getting them to stretch their legs as best to try and make them more comfortable
I found putting them similar position as nicu helped loads but on back a little on the side xxxx

My baby does this too and it’s so difficult. Midwife told me it’s because it’s a new environment. He has been so used to the cribs at hospital and the next to me is double the size and will take some time to get used to. We have ended up bringing the detachable crib section downstairs for the day time to help him get used to it
