Fussy with feeds - part of the regression?

Has anyone else’s baby become really fussy when feeding? During the day if we’re out and about she gets too distracted and in general she’s feeding for less time, comes off the boob etc? I feel like she’s barely getting any milk but maybe she’s becoming more efficient? I’m EBF with a bottle of expressed milk once a day.

Im formula feeding but my 4 month old is the same! He gets excited when he first see’s his bottle but then just seems distracted and not bothered after about an oz, we think hes getting bad trapped wind again but its honestly like hes went back to being a month old again 🙈

Yes. Constantly distracted, whining if I lay her down to feed her even though I know she’s hungry. Feel so out of touch with her at the moment because I just cannot figure her out

Could be all sorts. Distraction is a biggy. I often find somewhere quiet to feed my boy as he’s the same and then I might sing as I’m feeding to keep his focus on me. Also rocking as I’m feeding often helps stop the fussing. Can be developmental leap, teething, all sorts but it does get better ☺️ went through it all with my eldest too

Out of nowhere, my LG has started pushing her bottle away & then being sad it's not in her mouth 🤣

Our one has been eating less as well. Before he would take down 5-6oz every 3 hours easily and now he’s taking anywhere between 3.5-4oz. I will still try and give him the rest of the bottle during the wake window and before he goes down for a nap. Sometimes he takes the rest sometimes not.

@Joss this is exactly how I feel! She’s so whiny and I don’t know what she wants.

@Aimee I think it’s development leap! How long did it last for you?
