Blocked tear ducts
Is anyone else’s newborn experiencing blocked tear duct/s? It seems pretty common but hate seeing his eyes all gunky all the time 😓 Have just been advised to keep bathing with boiled water and eventually it’ll go. He was 4 weeks yesterday born at 37+6.

Yes! My 3 week old has one gunky eye! Been advised to the same too. Did you have a c section? She’s also so congested too bless her x

@Jodie Yep I had a c section, did you? It’s really stressing me out 😭 I hate seeing his eyes like that and he loses his mind when I clean them 😵💫
@Alexandra I did too! Apparently it’s more common in c section babies. My little girl hates hers being cleaned too! Hopefully it won’t be long before they clear xx

My sisters baby girl did for 3 weeeks she did the wash cloth thing that she watched a video of applying a small amount of pressure with her finger- it oozed and then wiggle right out! Kinda like a white head! Been clear ever since and baby wasn’t in any distress or pain
