My little one actually seems to respond to her nickname "chicken" more than her actual name 😂 I wouldn't worry too much, I think they're still too young to actually be worrying
I think if he’s responding to other things then that’s good. I’m going thru a few things with my daughter which has always been a problem since she was younger. She don’t do eye contact or respond to name at all but also she doesn’t interact with you or play with toys so I do have extra support and development tests going on for her and referrals. I think like I said if he’s understands other things he will be ok
@Laura that’s true, so much pressure on them and us too bcse they always say..by that age they should do this and etc..so you question sometimes..
@Sophie That’s so funny 😂 my baby does respond to ‘mama’ , i always called him mama inst of his name..🥴something from my country 😂🫣
@Mary I’m sorry you going through this..is such a worry isn’t? never thought being a mom is such a tough job..you constantly worry and specially when others are saying things like..’oh..by this age my baby already drank his milk by himself…or by 1 year old my baby said her name and others name..and i am like..🫣 my baby only says ma ma and ba ba at this point.. I hope your daughter gets the support she needs it 🌹
Thank you she’s a lovely girl but as my forth child with 15 year age gap from last I knew something wasant right and she’s past out 4 times as well which they think maybe some kind of seizure but we just waiting for appointments now from hospital.
@Mary oh no..bless her ..hope they move fastt and she gets checked asap..must be tough for you hun 😔
If he's responding to other words then that seems reassuring? Our LG does respond to her name but there's definitely other things that lots of babies her age seem to do that she hasn't got the hang of yet. They're all so different and learning so many little skills at once, aren't they!
