BF moms- are you all still pumping at night?

My little one rarely eats between 10pm and 6am but I’ve been getting up to pump. I’m hoping to stop that soon but I don’t want it to affect my milk supply. Are you all still pumping or feeding in the middle of the night?

i exclusively pump, my son was never a strong feeder and had problems latching after nicu stay. i pump about 5 times a day currently, and my nighttime schedule is usually once around his bedtime and then once at midnight before I go to bed. my morning pump usually isn’t until 8-10 so I think my boobs would explode without the midnight pump lol. my son does usually wake up once or twice in the night and the only way to get him back down is with a bottle

My baby feeds through the night still, I wish I could pump

My baby feeds often throughout the night still 🤷🏼‍♀️

I stopped pumping altogether. She breastfeeds during the day and doesn't wake up to eat at night anymore.

I pump right before I go to bed. My baby wakes up once in the early morning (3-4am) so I feed her then. If by some miracle she sleeps later or through the night, I still wake up to do that pump. If I don’t, my breasts get too uncomfortable!

My little guy has slept through the night for a long time, but i was pumping in the middle of the night in worry that my supply would drop if I didn’t. I decided to give it a go, and I now nurse him before bed (around 7:30/8 and sometimes I do a VERY small pump before I go to bed, typically around 9:30), and then I don’t pump again until the morning around 5:30 since he doesn’t wake up until about 6:45. My supply has stayed consistent and I’ve felt so much better not waking up in the middle of the night.

Yep

When mine started sleeping through the night I stopped pumping at night. Would feed her right before bed and finish pumping so I was all empty then depending on when she would wake up either feed her or pump one breast and feed her the other when she woke up. Supply didn't drop with this change. Morning just had more milk than usual. Was uncomfortable at first but I was so tired I didn't care then it stopped bothering me as much
