Twitching while sleeping
How do I know if my 1 week old twitching in his sleep is excessive or normal? I can wake him up from it but someone pointed it out that he is twitching alot and now it's worrying me that he is having seizures. I do have seizures but they aren't hereditary. I have non Epileptic Seizures.

It’s most likely the Moro reflex. They all have the twitch Moro reflex.

Personally my baby was excessively twitching as a newborn up to a month or so. She was perfectly fine. The pediatrician said it’s good brain activity when they move a lot during sleeping. Good REM sleep. I would say he’s fine but you can talk to a doctor if you’re worried. :)
