Speech

Is anyone’s toddler still not talking in full sentences? My toddler says around 400 words and can say a few phrases, but isn’t talking in full sentences… should I worry?

my son definitely says less than 400 words he speaks gibberish doesn’t really put things in sentences and he is definitely speech delayed. I got him evaluated around when he turned to with the regional center. He might have one in your area. You can definitely give them a call, but do it as fast as you can because there is always a wait list for that. You can try encouraging him to put two words together like I want pizza and remember it’s a learning curve my old is didnt started talking till she was for like full sentences and it was like three word sentences.

My 2.5 year old just says 3 words:(

My daughter has a speech delay. She can say some words probably around 1 hundred. She doesn’t use sentences either

Cdc milestones wants 50 words and saying 3 word phrases. My son is starting to do sentences of 4 words... but still limited. Speak to your pediatrician for a referral to speech therapy if worried
