24th! No contractions or early labor yet. Just lots of pressure and feeling uncomfortable. I figure the baby will come when they are ready 😊
@Katie they told me if I get no signs after 25th I’ll get induced….
@Veronica my doctor said she wants to induce me too! I was polite and I told her no. If the baby isn’t in distress, I’d rather begin labor naturally. They are giving me a NST (non stress test) tomorrow to make sure everything is good and then I’m hoping to just keep on going until I go into labor on my own 🤞 but everyone’s birth story is different, just do what feels right for you 🫶
@Katie how long would you be willing to wait considering 42 weeks? My doctor will offer me on Monday and I’m not sure yet what to say
@Jessica 42 weeks is the max they will let me go (because apparently your placenta can start to calcify and stop giving nutrients to your baby if you wait too long). I want to wait until then if my body doesn’t go into labor naturally. Inductions scare me… I know they make contractions more intense and can make labor last way longer than if you were to go naturally. Also, induction opens the door for other interventions like epidurals, C-Sections, etc. I want as minimal medical interventions! We are strong ass women and have been giving birth for thousands of years without the help of medical intervention. That is just my personal opinion though. Do what you feel is right! ❤️
25th and no signs 🥲
