Milk

Hi , I just wanted a bit of advice. My little girl has just turned 11 months old and she has CMPA so is on SMA alfamino since 3 months old , however the older she’s got the less she wants it she absolutely hates it ! She also is allergic to oat milk. She’s teething so badly so last night I tried her with some soya milk as I just wanted to try to get her to drink some milk at least and she drank it all! Has anyone’s baby moved on to just soya at this age will it affect her weight ? Sorry for the rambling I’m just overthinking ! If anyone’s baby has been the same I could use some advice ! X

I’m not an expert but I think they say milk from 12 months because they still get a lot of their nutrition from formula or breast milk still. If she’s 11 months and eating a good varied diet IMO it’s not going to hurt but maybe check with the HV?

@Emma I do actually use baby vitamins once a day in her milk anyway as the HV recommended because she’s never really liked her bottles so I think I might just give her one bottle of her normal and one soya with the vitamins in it. She definitely loves her food😂!

My first was CMPA, you can get the alpro growing up milk which is soya- pop multivitamins into it once a day and you’ll be fine. My girl had a milk strike from 10 months and had to swap her early to soya!! It’s a minefield but you’re doing amazing xx

What soya milk did you buy There's only certain ones that would be acceptable as a full time drink due to it needing certain nutrients etc
