@Sarah im having a c section either way so it doesn’t really matter how baby is positioned but i just want to feel his kicks on my actual belly! I have a front placenta as well which doesn’t help 😂 it doesn’t hurt or anything but just feels so weird feeling it down there, it’s really low down x
I was told you'd feel the hiccups the most on their upper back so if you feel the hiccups down there it might be because baby is actually head down? 🤔
My first baby was a section and an anterior placenta too. Her downward kicks actually felt like she’d break out 😂
Those movements down there feel so weird, feel them in my ass sometimes too 😂😂
I feel the hiccups and kicks low down every day. My baby has been head down since before 20 weeks. She’s not moved for the 3 scans in that time nor every midwife appointment. When we had our 4D scan at 30 weeks, she had her foot in her face the entire time so they can definitely get their feet down there regardless of where they are positioned
@Donna Woods I forgot they can have their feet down there too 🤣 that would make sense to feel both kicks and hiccups in the same place! At 30 weeks baby was breech and he had his feet in his head too, so bottom down. They're so flexible in there 🤣
@Aurélie had my 20 week scan last week and head was up, but even with my first I felt alot of hiccups and she was always moving around
@Sarah honestly sometimes I feel like he’s trying to come out 😂 it’s not strong kicks yet imagine when they are haha!
@Alicia hahaha no way! 🤣
@Donna Woods so maybe what I think is hiccups can actually be baby kicking 🤷🏻♀️
Could be both still tbh. If you’re around 20 weeks they’re still pretty small and can move all over the place. Hiccups are small rhythmic movements that can last for a good few mins in comparison to kicks which are over very quickly.
@Aurélie Honestly they’re little acrobats 😂😂
@Donna Woods yeah, this is my second and my first had hiccups all the time, hopefully this one will start kicking up higher soon!
Oh yeah! The old lightning crotch pains. It feels awful, hoping baby spins for you x
