I had to start supplementing with formula due to my son losing so much weight the first few days. And honestly I enjoy the flexibility of having to do both
It’s safe to drink and breastfeed. The amount of alcohol you’ll have to consume for baby to even get a tiny bit is like so so high. You can literally be drinking and breastfeeding baby at the same time. At least that’s what my lactation consultant told me and I trust her
The benefits of breastfeeding outweighs formula feeding for sure and that’s a fact. People will always have their opinions, that’s inevitable, but ultimately, with all the information presented or shared with you, it’s up to you as the mother to decide which route to take. In the end, FED is BEST. 🫶🏼
I always do both so much easier
I started to combo fed my son around 5 or so months and he is doing great at 2.5 years old! Breastfeeding was a lot on me mentally, and doing combo feeding helped so much! Don’t let others make you feel bad about how you choose to feed your baby!
I'm doing combo feeding 😋 breastfeeding is very challenging on my mental health. I think I'm going to do formula feed and pumping 😁
I want my baby to get benefits of both, so I pump a few times a day so that others can feed him too, and we also do formula bottles at night or when we are low on breast milk. (He also came early at 36 weeks so my milk supply didn't arrive until days later, so I had to do formula in the beginning)
I hear that. People have to understand that it’s a personal choice to do either or both. You do what’s best for you and your baby. Breastfeeding is tough honestly. I bottle feed my first born and breastfeed my newborn and it’s hard to breastfeed in public, or driving ect. It’s your journey people are shitty.
