Pregnancy insomnia

I am currently 35 +6 weeks pregnant and my insomnia is so bad. I am getting like 5 hours a night and then I am awake from like 3 am 😭. I am still working at a nursery 8:30-5 which is a killer when I haven’t slept. My partner is asleep next to me and I am so jealous he can sleep. I can’t get comfortable and when I do get comfy she is digging her foot into my side or I need the loo. I have tried going to bed later but then I can’t fall asleep or I go to bed early and then I wake up and can’t get back to sleep after that so either way I am exhausted the next day and then pregnancy exhaustion on top of that. Please tell me I am not alone with this 😂😭

You’re not alone!! I am 33 weeks and have the same thing - some nights I wake every 2 hours, some nights I literally don’t sleep at all, and most mornings I wake up ready for the day at 5am! It’s so annoying and it worries me that my body isn’t getting enough rest for baby😫🥰

40w 1d pregnant here and I’ve been the same since around 30 weeks. The insomnia some nights was so bad x

This is exactly me at 34 weeks! Called in sick the last two days because I’d been awake since 2am for days in a row and couldn’t function. I can only sleep for around 4 (interrupted) hours and then I’m awake no matter what time I go to bed.

Omg i just read this and it looks same story , I am 36+5 , night time is the worst i sleep between 10pm to 3am and then the fun begins. My husband walks around the house and looks for me at least three times this night he came to ask is everything fine, i just cant sleep, i feel tired but can’t sleep. Bed is uncomfortable , i need fresh air, drink , pee and so on… But that I can tell you, and I notice personally my first born wakes up around this time too since he was born like2.30-3 am was a feeding time for him, and he is nearly 5 and he keeps waking up at the same time and comes to our bedroom, so maybe this dis balances me or this baby will have the same routine. Like 12 am , 2-3am -and then 5-6am feedings🤯😶‍🌫️ so the body prepares for it, I think this is just getting ready for us to be nightbirds🤯😶‍🌫️🤪😂😂😂😅

I’m in the same boat with sleepless nights full of seeking fresh air, peeing, hypoglycaemia and anemia. Feeling so tired and I’m only gone 32weeks😭😭
