Still waking frequently for feeds

My baby is ebf and is gaining weight well. He's on the 75th centile. Eventhough he's almost 5 months he wakes very frequently at night for feeds. Between 10pm-8am he has around 4 feeds. I'm considering giving him formula at 10pm, will it help reduce the night feeds? Not entirely sure he's hungry at night because he also uses nursing for comfort.

We are in the same boat.... but I'm sure it's just comfort. I feed her for only a couple of mins and she's asleep again. But otherwise she just screams and screams. She self settles well in the day but nights are a different matter.

Our LB is the same. He feeds 3 to 4 times a night. It used to be 5 times, and we managed to drop the first feed by introducing the dummy. Trying to get down to 3, but it's very hit and miss as to whether he'll accept it.

Our little girl is the same, still wanting 3 or sometimes 4 night feeds but she tends to just fall asleep for at least one of them, I think it’s comfort as well. She’s also teething so we’re not sure if the pain from that is waking her and making her want some comfort
