14 month old hates napping and we don’t know what to do

Our DD has hated napping since she was 6 months and it’s been a constant struggle. We used to be able to get her down eventually but now she just scream cries in her crib until we let her out. Then one some random days, she will nap for 3 hours no problem. We always wait until she shows tired cues, she’s kept busy during wake windows, she’s fed and all that but she just won’t do it. Then by the time we get to her bedtime, she’s so exhausted. She sleeps through the night no problem. Any tips? Should we do sleep training? Does it pass? Thanks in advanced!

I would try some sleep training, for my daughter it looks roughly like this: •wakes up between 8/8:30 (currently roughly an hour earlier cause she’s sick) •first nap is roughly around 11/11:30 •second second nap is roughly 3:30/4 •bed time is like 7:30/8:30 I would like to add somehow she got this routine down before she was roughly 6months old. We do do the cry it out method but I grab her if she’s crying longer than 30min cause my heart can’t handle it. Sometimes she still needs some contact naps and I don’t mind cause it’s rare now 🥲

How are you currently trying to put her down? Rocking, feeding, patting? I would never recommend sleep training based off of my research but there are some good pages on instagram like @heysleepybaby and @resting_in_motherhood that support attachment and responsiveness
