How long does your baby feed for in total across the day if you track it? Does your baby still have any night feeds? How are they doing with weaning? How many meals? Thanks

my daughter feeds about 4 or 5 times a day, 3 of which are to fall asleep for 2 naps and bedtime. Sometimes she has a night feed, sometimes not. 1 or 2 meals a day, but on busy days none. I try to follow her cues rather than set routine as it works best for us. Go with the flow! 😊

@Laci How many minutes does she feed for, per feed in the daytime? My LG daytime feeds can be super quick sometimes, as she's so nosey 😆

My little boy still feeds up to like 10 times a day 🫣😂 this includes 3 times during the night. However his feeds are pretty short I think, during the day they can be like 3-4 mins each because he gets really distracted… when I’m at home I try go in the bedroom with the blinds closed (and away from our dogs as he would just watch them all the time!). Re weaning: he generally has breakfast and tea every day, but the past few days I’ve been giving him a bit of yoghurt with fruit around lunch time depending on our plans on that day. I’d say in the past few days is the first time he’s really shown interest in actually wanting to eat things and put the food in his mouth. Before he just threw it straight away haha 🤪

I do think my little boy feeds for comfort sometimes rather than hunger; as he refuses to take a dummy so if he’s unsettled I just tend to put him on the booby!x

Nurses 5 or 6 times a day for about 6-8 mins. No night feeds. One “meal” a day, but she self feeds, so there’s no way to know how much she actually eats.

@Lucy usually 5-10 minutes

We have 5 feeds in the day and 1 at night. And then 2 meals. I tried last night not to give a feed because she didn't wake up with any hunger cues, just needed a nappy change but she wasn't having any of it!

OK that's good to know. Mine are about the same. I just wanted to check she was getting enough before I start trying to drop her night feeds. I put her in her own room last night for the first time and she only woke up twice to feed. Which is amazing for us 🥰🥺❤️
