Fussy baby - won’t feed EBF

My baby will be 4 months on Tuesday and for the last few days she’s missing feeds and going long stretches without feeding. She get distracted so easily then will come off and start screaming and not go back on. I’ve tried feeding in a quiet room but even then she gets distracted. She’s barely had any milk since 8:30am this morning. Does anyone else have similar experiences? Is it part of a regression and did they resume feeds?

We went through this… he was too excited over the big wide world. So we ended up with more night feeds. It’ll pass. Keep doing you. You’re not doing anything wrong. All you can do is offer the feed.

My son is doing this now! I am just following his lead… rocking him to sleep and feeding him when he’ll take it. You’re doing a great job and as long as baby isn’t unwell (high temp) or losing a lot of weight then I think you’re fine 💜 (from one mum to another!) x

Thanks @Hena @Beth I needed to hear this today. She’s happy in herself and as soon as I stop offering she’s smiling and happy again. Still wet and dirty nappies. Just I do think surely she’s hungry? @Hena how long did it take till it passed for you?

Sorry lovely… I missed this. He was trying to roll at 4m. Once he mastered this we were back to normal feeds. So about 2/3wks. But he needs to be away from distractions now. Before I could feed him just about anywhere. Doesn’t work anymore, unless he’s HANGRY or shattered xx

How’s your little one been past couple days?xx
