@Hollie thank you! I’m going to try and measure him tomorrow, I’m really curious to see how tall my lad is!
My boy is in the 98th percentile for height at 7 months old 🤣. I find Tesco’s sleep sacks are quite good for length. Got a 1.5 tog and a 2 tog one for £5 each in the sale section in store this week.
Slightly unrelated but is your little boy also in bigger nappies ? As my little girl is just over 7 months and she is in size 6 nappies ( sainsburys) and in 9-12 and some 12-18 clothes just because she is so long xx
I struggle to find clothes to fit my tall skinny girl. I've found Tesco runs small, Sainsbury's are long on the limbs, primark is average and pound land is big all round
My boys 97th percentile. I really rate the gro bag sleeping bags. He’s been in 9-12 a good while but only just grown out of 0-6 gro bag sleeping bag next size up is 6-18 so it’s perfect for us. Not loose around his neck just seem to have plenty of length too them. I’m not sure how much they are as I’ve bought second hand off Vinted x
Asda do larger sleeping bags. I switched to Asda ones with my first as they went up to 2 years (theoretically).
@Harmony he sure is! We use size 6+ from Asda! Xo
@Harmony were also in size 6 and it’s been a good 3 weeks or so! X
Curious: how are people getting the percentile measurement at this stage? My boys not been weighed professionally in months
@Hollie our local family hub do a self weigh day and there’s a scale at the baby sensory class run by them too.
I find John Lewis AnyDay baby grows really generously sized and stretchy. My son is 7months and 98th percentile so we have the same problem. He’s currently just about on the boarder of needing 12-18 month clothes and is in a Sainsbury’s 12-18 month sleeping bag as he was very unhappy in his 6-12 month one as his feet touched the bottom. Some of the M&S baby grows have two sets of buttons for when you need a little bit of extra length in the body…very handy!
My toddler has a age 2-4 years sleep sack. That might provide lots more room! It was Jojo Maman Bebe
I always found Asda sleep sacks come up small, I have tons of different ones as I’d buy from everywhere with my first born to find one to fit 🙈 my 7 month old daughters currently in a 18-24 month from Sainsbury’s for example and that is starting to get small in length. H&M sleep sacks come up large so would recommended looking at them (Black Friday sale is on too)
I have a very big/tall/chunky boy! Currently wearing a mix of 9-12 and 12-18 months clothing. Currently wearing these sleep suits which are great in length XHDA 2.5 TOG Baby Sleeping Bag... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D97Q3PF5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
