Bedtime feeds - formula

Does anyone offer their bub extra oz at bedtime to help stay fuller for longer? Is this a thing? Is it recommended? Bub will sleep stretches but wake up in a state because she’s hungry and slept longer than between her day feeds

Idk if it's recommended but I started doing this n my baby started sleeping a little longer n gave me peace of mind knowing he had a little more if he was gonna sleep for long periods of time. I offer him it sometimes he drinks it sometimes he doesn't but least he has the choice x

@Willow aww okay, this is what I was thinking, that way if she feels like she wants more she can take it - I might try it, thank you xx

I haven't tried , however I do have a friend who crushes a rusk into the bedtime milk! X

Mine just won’t drink it so it’s pointless. If your baby regularly finishes the entire bottle during the day then it might be time to up the amount you give anyway. My girl doesn’t technically drink enough according to all guides etc but she sleeps 10-12 hours a night and doesn’t wake up starving (she’s so weird 😅)

I always give my LO 7oz at night and 7oz in the morning as during the day I give her 5oz but I’m lucky if she’ll drink 3oz.

I give an extra couple on the last fees but she'll decide if she wants it. Don't know if it helps with sleeping but have done it since about 3 months (she's now 4.5 months)
