Over stimulated

Hello does anyone know how to quickly stop yourself from getting over stimulated ? I get very frustrated (not at anyone just in general) and it's due to being over stimulated when I'm so tired but can't sleep as the babies up or never being left alone until they fall asleep as the babies so clingy. I'm trying everything and I'm still feeling really over whelmed and over stimulated and idk what to do to stop the frustration from it my partner doesn't understand because he gets to sleep when he wants and gets to be left alone whenever he wants which also adds to the frustration and makes me seem crazy. Please help ladies 😣😩

I could have written this - I had a bad day yesterday and overstimulation was on max as the little one constantly blows raspberries and it really sent me to the edge, especially as I was exhausted and not feeling 100%. Some things I try are change in temperature - going somewhere cool or cold; going for a walk with baby; reducing or changing my cothing - sometimes a change in tshirt or swap to leggings; if partner can take baby for even 10minutes then that will help - you could go in a quieter and dimly lit space; put on headphones to reduce noise; if baby is clingy (mine has moments 😅), then I like to just read a book with them or take him on a tour of the flat and stare out the windows at the cars. If I find myself getting frustrated and struggling to stay regulated around baby, then I will just put him down safely with toys, even if he is grumbling or cries, and go get myself a drink or a snack or do a tiny job. Overstimulation is so tricky, try and find things that give you a moment to reset or calm 😊
